I'm 90% sure this bassline was done by Ferry. Listen to how the cutoff automation was done, not to mention the panning delay.

i asked Ferry to play Sublime at the party (Ferry Corsten - Live at Home Club Budapest 10-22-2003), and he played it!!!

and the crowd loved!!!!
one of the best tune of 2003!

ferry and steve made a fantastic tune together!

I don't produce(yet) or know anything about it, but just from hearing I think it's a combination...that main kick resembles the kick from Affinity. And that 2nd beat clap is Ferry's, of course...
