I have recently lost two gigs because i wouldnt bring my TT's ,mixer and a sound system that i dont have. Having you own sound set-ups would help alot, cause people who organise parties couldnt be bothered hiring equipment and hiring a Dj as well, they rather do it in one hit, nice and simple.

Just to clairify, when I said that you shouldn't bring your own sound equipment, I ment your own PA system, amp, reviever speaker cables etc. TT and Mixer are something that I bring to every place that I spin at, unless I know for sure that they will provide that equipment.
