You, like 90% of the people against trance mp3 sharing, got in to trance by way of downloading mp3s, but now you have 5 or 6 trance cds you feel you can preach to everyone about mp3 sharing.

If your one of the 10% then I am truly sorry

5 or 6 you think? Try about 500 or so vinyl and around a few dozen CD's. and no what got me into trance was hearing a tune in a club

LOL, I don't know what filesharing has to do with this persons question about songs with distorted vocals and trippy effects .

darkside, a couple I can think of are Jewel - Intuition (Markus Schulz Coldharbor Mix),
Conjure One ft Sinead O'Connor - Tears from the Moon (hybrid twisted on the terrace mix)
Kirsty Hawkshaw - Fine Day (James Holden Remix)
James Holden - One For You
Space Manoeuvres - Stage One (Separation Mix) or the Total Seperation mix, forget which one.
Utah Saints - Lost Vagueness (Oliver Lieb mix)
Bubble Audio Worx - Brave New World

These are definately not as distorted as Nothing (Returning mix), but have some trippy effects . There is a Remix I heard of As The Rush Comes that had distorted vocals, but have no idea which remix it was. Wish I kept the sample .

leave the dude alone. he's just trying to encourage people to buy the albums. which the more people do the better.

......
if it weren't for mp3s tho, i wouldn't have been exposed to nearly as much music as i am now. i hear alot of songs on mp3 and go searching for them on vinyl. i also learn about awsome DJ's and pay exorberant prices to see them live.
if the industry were to change the way it did business then maybe they could start making ungodly amounts of money again.

anyway,

i'm a big fan of songs with distorted vocals. i love it when you can't understand what they are saying. most of the time lyrics in songs are just incredibly dumb or cliche. when you can't understand what the lyrics are all you hear is the beauty of the voice and it adds an element of mystery to the song.

Sorry to say tht was a lame ass theory,if you got into trance because instead of ATC..you typed in ATB and all of a sudden you see these weird songs on AG..."I need to download it ...".
Also if you knew how much he spent on vinyls..ud be surprised.
