virtually everybody on here mixes i think, which is grand as it obviously shows how passionate about music ppl are. technics are the industry standard, and yes, they are expensive, but it doesnt phase ppl from purchasing them as while they are a quality product, they're depreciation rate is quite low. take into account that if you decide mixing aint the thing for you, you wont have a problem at ridding them at almost the price you purchased them for. have a look at the trading post, ebay, inthemix forums. second hand techs are going for 600-700? retail is around 700-800. besides. the cost of equipment are only the beginning, just wait till ur hit with the plague of vinyl addiction.
