I know, this is craazy! Imagine how Bush must be feeling though, Like a LOOOOSEEEER!!!.. and Nope, No WMD, No Saddam, No Bin Ladin.. just Terrorists who are NOW coming and prospering in Iraq. Ive seen Iraquis claiming that there was better order when Saddam was governor, now theres all kinds of things. All of the Sudden, Bush needs the money and UN's help ( after telling them to f^%!#$ off ).. now its funny to see the irony of how Germany and France are on top of all this. .. looks like they were right after all.. and no, now majority of people are mad pissed about this 87 billion, and it will be more, this is just the beginning.. the total WAR cost will be inmense!!..

Where are all the Bush/war supporters, especially JM, I know you reading this.. give us your so SMART response, would love to see what is all about.. ( guys.. can you see they are quite and scared ?? )

I'm not scared at all...it's funny how when something hits the fan all the bashers and haters jump on the wagon and go nuts, while when something goes right they go run and hide and never show support, and wait for some stumbling block to protrude and come out in full force. Although I think it's easier to rant and bash than to show simple support. Plus the fact that it seems some people (no fingers pointing) look for negatives in everything that happens...i.e. they will plainly never be pleased.

In this case: Asking for more money...

I was a person that felt that war was not in our best interest, but the removal of Saddam was. I think that our nation is a safer place now than it was 2 years (or more) ago, although definatelhy not totally secure.

I'd rather spend the money on efforts to rebuild a country and fight the renegade terrorists over there, than spend billions cleaning up another tradgedy on U.S. soil, funded by those which we are currently fighting. At the same time, I don't like seeing our troops, nor civilians, in harms way. But I support our troops and our actions now that we are in this mess. And there is a monetary cost to that.

People are very good at looking in hindsight when they are not directly involved. i.e. Supporting the war effort then, then being displeased about spending now...no matter the reasons that have come light since. I just think it has to do with a sense that people think we are a perfect people and do things perfectly, on schedule, on budget, when that's far from the truth. And when some thing don't go to plan, they are shocked and refute the actions that we took in the first place.

But having an opinion is what's great about this country. You can disagree with what's going on and speak out. Believe me, if you spoke out against what the government decided to do in some other places you'd be doing it from a pine box (if your lucky) 6 feet under. I hope people that bash are greatful for that. (I know when I bash, I am greatful.)

And on Germany and France...they lost a lot of money with their investment to Iraq...and there is a ton of money to be had in rebuilding it "i.e. coprorate/gov't rebuilding contracts". Of course they are going to be on top of this, at the cost of sharing the power of running the show...which I'm not up to speed on to comment on how I'd react to that.

There are a lot of things I don't like about this whole thing...but the one thing is I support my country and what they need to help finish what they went over there to do...try and establish a free Iraq.

There...now you have an opinion of a supporter...happy?

p.s. that cartoon is spot on as well

I'd say it's more the problem of human nature. When something goes as one wishes it to, that person brags about it so that everyone hears it, but when something goes the other way, there's really not much to say unless you want to make yourself look like an idiot.

Really? You just created another disorganized country filled with terrorist groups and Al Quaeda supporters.

I think Saddam did a much better job in cleaning out Iraqi islamists than the US is doing right now. During his reign, it was almost impossible for the renegade terrorist groups to show their face, let alone take some serious action. He also showed the will to bend over if pressed hard enough. In that way it was much easier to deal with an organized, although deceptive country than it is now with an unorganized country where fundamentalist fractions of all sorts fight for power and against the americans.

So true, Saddam was a THUG. And a country like Iraq, unfortunately, needs someone like Saddam to control a country like Iraq. Im not saying that to kill people, but im talking as in a general way.
