yeah sorry, rambling again.
err, right, traktor, ok. If u are looking to produce perfect mix's for a mix CD or perhaps a work free performance for your m8s, traktor is for u. It is heaviley automated with beat matching and synching. Programmable cue points. full kills (well, pretty full anyway) and programmable playlist are all there. u can even switch on a mode which will beat match and mix for u with the click of a button. buttons are all pretty clear and ez to hit with a mouse and there is short cuts for all functions too. the skin to the software is pretty attractive and i think they may be an option to change skins too.
there is a pretty detailed frequency display and i have to say out of all the software ive used, traktor is about the closest ur genna get to having the ability to scratch.all mixs can be recorded and either exported as wav. or mp3, maybe more but i cant remmeber. Playlist displays just about everything and is pretty clear, although it does sometimes get tracks and artists back to front. End of the day traktor is for floorless, challengeless mixs. u might as well sit PVD in front of ur decks and tell him to mix then claim it to be ur creation. However if time is something u dont have much of and u need to be able to produce plenty of perfect mix's, this is ideal.
hope thats a bit more helpful and i just havn't rambled again.
