People start shit here because that's the only way they've found for themselves to get attention from other people. It's all really quite pathetic and sad
That's my theory anyway. I hope no one thinks I'm being a hypocrite
hmmm interesting argument

I think I know why the New York forum is a peaceful location: we all know that at one point we would have to de-lurk and meet in real life (which I am yet to do )

Hey TranceEyes22...
I read a whole bunch of the threads you had posted earlier today and i was sorry to see the kind of response that you recieved.
i myself did not know anyone who passed away 2 years ago but i still feel that it is only right to pause, reflect, observe, and mourn for all those who were affected by the events of september 11th if you so choose to do so. and for those that dont feel that way, attacking others for their feelings is definately the wrong thing to do.
when i got into the clubbing scene around here a few years ago i started out on sicktracks.com cause that site evolved from the soundfactory message board.
well i still read that board but i hardly ever post there cause the attitude of most over there sucks and has for quite some time. when i stumbled onto this site i was so happy cause it seemed like such a friendly board (espically this forum) where one could feel free to post what was on their mind and not worry about getting shit on because of it. this was evident from the first time i browsed these boards by the lack of name calling and profanity.
it is true that the quality of life here in the ny forum has gone down slightly in past months, but i still would rather read and post over here anyday.
i think the problem as of late may be that summer is over and for many going back to the busy daily routine (school/whatever) has some people stressed a bit.
don't let this get you down. anyone can sound like a tough guy over the internet but i highly doubt that anyone would be as harsh in person. i may not know you but you are a part of a place that i spend a lot of my time, so it's the people like you that make me happy (if you think about it that way), and share one of my biggest passions in life...trance.
anyways i just thought i'd post this to cheer you up since you have been under attack so much today. hang in there. soon enough, hopefully most of the hostility will pass on here and everything will be back to normal again. at least i hope so.

we'll make sure that your bday thread wont get poopy
and seriously, theres been a lotta flaming. They're usually the threads where people ask the tops songs over and over, and the rest are just annoyed, but hey they can do themselves a favor and just not click on it.
keep the love

Dude, we have... we meet up for any big events, like the up-and-coming J00F @ Arc... I would say that most of us have met each other.

Ha, I managed to catch chicken pox at the ripe age of 24, so no J00F for me... Hopefully, I can meet y'all at the Reflections party in October.

Kind of like the episode of the Simpsons when Hollywood comes to Springfield to film Radioactive Man but springfield taxes em all to hell and they leave and go back to Hollywood.
They're on the corner in Hollywood and he says dont worry your back home with the people you know and care about and they embrace
and then Lean on Me starts playing....
Yeah kind of like that !
Erin, you're back with the NY TAs
Lean on us
