Dont worry. Everything on your other HD will remain uneffected (if you dont format the wrong one, of course ). You will have to reinstall EVERYTHING - this includes drivers for your video, network, and sound card, as well as things like DirectX, Windows service packs and whatnot. CD Rom drives and un-formatted HD's dont need any drivers (tho you will probably need to reinstall your CDRW's burning software). Make sure you have all the necessary drivers and such gathered and backed up on your second HD if necessary.

To format, just grab ye old windows CD, put it in your CD rom tray, then reboot. Right around the time when you hear your computer beep as it starts up, press delete to get into your bios (it may be another key on your computer, tho its more often than not delete). You can spam the key if you want to, it wont hurt nothin. Once in your bios, look around for the setting of Primary Boot Device. Change this to CD Rom, and put HDD-0 (or whatever your main OS HD is) as secondary boot device. Then save/exit, restart, and boot up from the windows CD. Follow the instructions to format and reinstall windows. And there you go.
