Well, I've been on 56K since 2001-09-17... I download MP3s almost every day for at least 8 hours/day all year long... I now have over 90 CDs full of compressed audio and it's constantly growing. I'll hit the century mark (100) soon. Now, I plan to finally get broadband (ADSL) by year's end. Multimedia downloading is the ONLY thing in this world that's driving consumer broadband.

For the geeks out there, I'm sure you are all aware of Australia's boardband situation. Because of this I am still on 56K hehehe and yes it sucks donkey's balls!

i used to be on 56k... but now i'm at uni and it's 700+ k/s at it's best, which is like, wicked fast.


i can even run my own server.


i'm not looking forward to returning to the horrible 56k line at home.
