Well, cat food is not that different from human food, except that it contains less spices and a bit more meat. Although it smells good it's kinda tasteless. Now, there's nothing wrong with cats eating your food remains, as long as you make sure there are no small bones they could choke on. Chicken bones are not good either because they can break into sharp pieces as they eat them.
Now, about the milk, every young mammmal synthesizes lactase, the enzyme needed for breaking up the lactose into glucose and galactose. Usually that enzyme's production ceases as the mammmal matures, so milk stops being nutritious for most of them. In some cats and most humans of non-asian origin the lactase production is not stopped, so they can drink milk all their life. Basically, if your cat likes milk, give it to her. Even if the lactase production in it has ceased, there will still be no harmful effects.
