Orb, mate,
people often behave the way we least expect them to. However, nobody hurts us: we are the ones who hurt ourselves, because we want things to be different from what they are, even though we've got no right to change them. If you really like your friend, try to understand why he's doing it - maybe he's insecure and afraid to lose his girlfriend, and maybe he think she's way out of his league; maybe he's just confused... being angry won't help, at all. In fact, if you do something while you're irate, it'll only get things worse.
What to do?
Wait. Tomorrow is often surprising. Don't ditch your friend, just give him some time. If he comes back, it's gonna be your turn to decide whether you'll be his friend or not. As for now, focus on yourself: apart from the money he owes you, what's bothering you? Focus on that and try to heal this wound
I'm off to bed now. |
wise words.
i'd just ditch the friend tho. i wouldnt want to spend my time with someone who'd screw me over. let him come crawling back.
i forgive, but he'd have to really want to be forgiven.
