Asus = Good motherboard

Gigabyte = Good motherboard

MSI = Good motherboard

the one you specified is a great motherboard, i wanted to get it myself, but it was a bit too expensive. If you can afford it, go ahead.

If you use lots of audio software, more ram is better. 512MB minimum.

CPU: more than 2.0ghz intel should suffice
