Love house, particularly the progressive side of it and the more slamming filtered house (Olav Basoski et al).

Don't actually like trance that much any more. Why am I here then? The free food mainly.

God I'm hung over.....

i think its the opposite really..Trance with out its Basslines the melodies would be Flatt..... House (not including Hardhouse)... is more beat originated more complex beats it has basslines too but doesnt have a big effect on the whole song like it does for trance......Trance is synths u were right but Basslines are what makes TRANCE = TRANCE.....imagine listening System F songs or Gouryella songs with out the bassline ....its would suck so bad!!!!.

I prefer Trance because it makes you wanna dance more . I like house too but it gets cheesy at the end

HARD HOUSE IS NOT HOUSE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
sorry to be a dick but this really pisses me off.

its actually a lot more closely related to euro-trance.

anyways i like trance and house, but i cant be bothered w/ some house.
that disco-y funky house is cool to chill sometimes, as is deep tribal house, and i consider prog house just the same as prog trance a lot of the time...

anyways i spend most of my time listening to trance.

doesnt it piss you djs off when they list certain tracks under house? like safri duo - played alive under Trance
and THEN safri duo - samb-adagio under House!

damn i miss so many tracks like that.. its annoying... another one is utah saints - lost vagueness, a lot of times listed as house...

Honestly I used to be a full throttle trancEaddict, but now since i've started listening to Mauro Picotto's hard house stuff, i've started listeining to Tony De Vit, BK, Andy Farley, Lisa Pin-up and Lisa Lashes. Its all good stuff! I am still a trance addict, but i'm also very into hard house. Heres a good new track: E-Trax - Lets Rock (BK's Nukleuz Remix)its off of tidy trax (www.tidytrax.co.uk). That track is for anyone whose open minded enough to listen to something new. Dont go off ranting about how out of whack I am for listening to hardhouse more than trance

i really dont think picotto classifies as hard house? tech-trance i thought... anyways... i really cant stand to listen to regular house for more than a few minutes... i gets so fucking boring! but im starting to dig prog more and more... stuff like digweed and sasha spin... if thats considering prog house at all

either way... trance will always be #1 to me!

Trance, Hardhouse, progressive, techno.. etc, they are all offsprings of house music.. It all started as house music back in the early eighties where the house tunes had a 4/4 beat..

You're kidding Right? Mauro Picotto is definetly a hard house DJ and he definetly produces Hard House. As i said, mauro makes some trancy tracks and he does Hard house...Trancy being Komodo, Proximus, Lounge. Tech Trance=Pulsar, Like This Like That, Underground. Hard House=Bug, Pegasus, Baguette, Iguana, Electric. All of the tracks under hard house that i listed have been made for Mauro's Green Nukleuz Relases (www.Nukleuz.co.uk), The rest have been bought off by Uneversal Records and Media Records (www.mediarec.de). BxR is Mauro's label so it will all be @ www.bxr.it if you want to see the back releases catalog...speaking of bxr, its mainly a Hard House Label with exceptions of Mario Piu's "The Vision" and "Communication" and Darren Flynn's "Spirit of Sp@ce" which was Co-produced by Mauro Picotto.
