Sup. The Stanton's are pretty cool.
I havn't used the 1200's before so I wouldn't know how to compare. But according to some reviews they say the STR8-80's are "everything you ever wanted with the 1200's plus more".
But I don't see a pratical use of some of the features... I.e. the key adjustment and quartz lock. since you don't really need to use them. What I like about these decks are the reverse features and also the line in and digital out.

Smile Vestax PDX-d3

I am using Vestax PDX-d3. It is great to use that little joystick-dohicky to adjust your mix. The only complaint I have is that the pitch control is too linear. Unlike Vestax, Technics pitch actually wobbles a bit, so it is way easier to control your mix than using two Vestax. I really don't care which one is the best, I can make do of whatever turntable comes in my way. Hehehe

Exclamation Vinyl RULES!!!

Vinyls are better than cds, i prefer spinning vinyls. cds are easy to mix, whereas for vinyls it takes skills and patience to do it. cd mixing can vary. there are alot of times when i try to mix it, i can go 1.6 or 1.7, both are ok and it blends to the song. but for vinyl.... TRY IT!
heh
