i don't want to escalate this

the only reason why i went back in time in this argumentation is because you stated that Syria is playing a game called hizbollah a long time ago...

its obvius to any Intelligence service in the world that Hizbulla is getting its commands and financing from Syria.

now even after Israel went out from Lebanon terretory, Hizbulla continues firing misles on the north of Israel. Hizbulla also claims responsability for the kidnapping of 3 Israeli soldiers from the north border, and the kidnapping of an Israeli intelligence person from a place in europe.
now if shooting misles on Israel is ok, and not called playing durty games, so man, you are right.
so sad how only one side gets the real critisism, so sad, so true.

from what I know, Hizballah will still fight Israel because it still occupies the shebaa farms in southern Lebanon. It said after the retreat of Israeli troops from southern lebanon that it will continue its fight because Israeli haven't left the Shebaa farms...

quote:

second of all,
you want Israel to stop its existance?

no i never said that, what is done is done. Israel exists and thats it. Players in the region should find a solution for the geopolitical situation in effect in this region and stop going back to old books.
quote:

maybe you continue hitlers plan now and kill all jews left in our little world.
and its so funny how you blame all the wars nad death the region suffered on the creation of a country, rather than puting the blame on the countris who started all the wars, and all the countries who support suicide bombings.
also Lebanon was created near the creaton of Israel, i dont see you putting any blame on its creaton.
maybe cause it wasnt attacked in the day of its creation by 6 surrouding countries? and then again, and again, and agian
yea yea... you are right.

slowdown buddy, its all assumptions now, I never said those things.

the one who created those countries (lebanon, israel, syria, irak, jordany, saudi kingdom and other mickey mouse kingdoms) are to blame... i.e. colonialist empires but its old things now... everyone should move forward.

even though UN realy is pro-arab in our current situation
(sorry i say this as a fact, but man you know its true)
The israeli line after leaving lebanon, was fully approved by the UN.
secondly, are those farms or what ever, which are ofcourse a vary vary small terretory are a cause for misile attacks and kidnapping of soldiers?
ofcource not. this isuue could have been solved by negotiation, because its so minor. but huzbulla as a terror organiztion, and syria as hizbulla's "commander" unfortunatly prefer the violent way.
And yes, israel can leave the shebaa farms...but why the hell? will any other democratic country will do EVERYTHING terrorists ask for?
truly man, be fair

true!
so shy do you say that
"sorry my man, israel with its creation is the source of these troubles... "

true again!
all i wanted to show is that your statemnt was wrong, and now we agree

say what you want, but its a fact that Syria supports and finances terror inside the israeli borders and in south lebanon. this attack not only it was justified, it had justification long time ago.

its a question of principles, they're not mine.

i can't really say that Syria directly supports hizbollah or that its higher levels of govt do. but you have to see it as a way of getting back to Israel for the occupied Golan. Syria was also supporting kurds in Turkey because Turkey was blocking water coming into Syria, Syria is still bitching about occupied lands by Turkey (the Alexandrete province)... another story

Israel was like the little snowball thrown from the top of a mountain that creates an avalanche. Its more complex than that, but you get the idea.

Syria is a bitch, i know it, my family wouldn't be in Canada now. They're not righteous, Israel neither. What I dislike is how Israel takes an unnecessery action to "stop terrorism". Between you and me, this will change absolutely nothing. These kinds of actions make me remember those missiles launched by the US at Somalia and Afghanistan to retaliate against "terrorists", later we found out, it never changed anything. These actions looks absolutely fantastic to the masses in the originating countries, but look so dumb in the long run.

as much i know, the Israeli-Syrian reletionships are much more evolved and "alive" than it apears on the ground.
israel wasnt doing this action to "stop terrorism", its just a way to signal something to the syrian side. I trust my goverment and military knowing that this action was done, only because it was neccesery.

I would probably agree with this assessment. Reading into a lot of the events leading up to the wars of 67 and 73, there's a lot more than meets the eye. To the public these actions seem very self-evident however, in diplomatic channels this is a clear message to the Syrian government to, at the very least, reign in the overt Hezbollah support. The fact that a relatively empty training camp was struck instead of hard syrian targets was probably deliberate.

Huh ... well look at that:

quote:

Shot across Syria's bows

There is a reasonable likelihood that Israel's chosen target in Syria was not an operational Islamic Jihad base but probably empty facility once used as a training camp by the all but defunct Palestinian group known as the PLFP-General Command.

It is also reasonable to assume that all parties in the dispute know this.

While it is in the interest of Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon to highlight the raid as a blow to Islamic Jihad in response to the Haifa attack, it is also in Syria's interest to loudly protest this "murderous" violation by Israel of international law.

In reality, both the protagonists and the US understand the attack for what it was - a limited shot across Syria's bows.

lol

maybe BBC staff read the forums

and now serius,
isnt it disturbing that even the BBC admit that it was
quote:
Syria's interest to loudly protest this "murderous" violation by Israel of international law.

it is disturbing and it is "LOW"....
Tell me please when israel used the international law so loudly after countless Hizbula attacks on North Israel. and after allready many "Kasam, Kasam 2" rocket attacks coming from the Gaza Strip.
this is another example that shows, that Israel is simply playing the fair game here when it concerns the international politics and media, while Palestinians and now Syria (as said in BBC) brutaly protests about anything. and this methond works, the world supports the Palestinians forgeting\forgiving the true History\Modern facts.
