Dave calrke is piss poor mate. his sets are boring and his choons are just as bad.

wtf is that tune way of life all about, complete pish. he should leave those kind of productions up to dj rush and look up the word originallity.

who the fuck does clarke think he is anyway, "techno is to white"

does he not have mirrors, he looks pretty white to me. the guys a wank.

beyer and umek are good, but they don't come anywhere near the quality that richie hawtin can produce behind the decks. i will be seeing him live this november and i can't fuckin wait, heard so much about him and i'm sure i won't be dissapointed. also seeing laurent garnier and beyer.

november will be a quality month for techno.

haha, I'm a girl - its normally just the yanks who get confused

Have you heard much of Dave Clark's stuff? as a DJ he is far from boring, give his Dance Valley set from last year a listen - its fucking awesome and I'm not the biggest of techno fans.

I've not heard much from richie hawtin, so I'm taking your word for it and downloading a couple of his sets

wtf

it depends on the set. i like most of his sets. especially "ridiculous" tunes he plays.have u listened his banging live sets? Time Warp 14 is a good example. he can mix if he wants.

have u heard red2? it was made in 1994...Wisdom to the wise...

way of life is good. gonna listen his album tomorrow. and i believe its good.

i'm not in a mood to argue

night

I just don't like his attitude towards everybody else. and way of life i'm sorry is not a good tune. the vocals sound completely out of place, and it is a very tedious tune.

I've never seen richie hawtin myself but i've heard glowing reports from my brother who saw him in ibiza. he can play a lot of minimal techno, but he is a tremendously talented dj.

Hawtin is an ace dj. Check out any of the sets from Cacoon Club Ibiza. Also the mix compilations with Sven Vath (see my sig) are good...they are also a representation of their sets at that club in Ibiza.

A TA from Slovakia!? Wicked. Of all the countries I visited last summer, that one left an impression on me..I liked how there were not too many tourists. I visited Slovakia last summer, went to Kosice, Topolcany, and a few small towns through the Tatras and stayed a few nights in Bratislava. Awesome country, people were so nice. I met this guy on the train going across the country and ended up going to his villiage where they were having a psy-trance and techno party out in the woods..what an experience. Hardly anyone could speak English..but we connected through the music..amazing.

Slovak women are also very beautiful.

Peace,
Drew

who's #1.....

My number 1 fav. is definetly picotto....he's bin the man for years. I've listened to him while he produced trance, and then i evolved as he evolved to inteligent techno. Now he produced the most amazing/original techno on the planet!and live, he was amazing......Dj rush to me would be the next to see live. Can't say much for his productions..." don't do much for me" but for his live sets.....OMG, TOTAL CHAOS. i love it!..i've never heard anything like it. But producers like beyer, henrik.B,Liebing,Umek, advent, headroom,Lars klein, patrick skoog, Sven Vath, Alex Katz, kai Randy Michel...and some good techno house producers like bando,redhead,varela...those are my top notch dj's!

Also, a quart of tequila, a quart of rum, a case of beer, a pint of raw ether, and two dozen amyls. Not that we needed all that for the trip, but once you get into a serious drug collection, the tendency is to push it as far as you can. The only thing that really worried me was the ether. There is nothing in the world more helpless and irresponsible and depraved than a man in the depths of an ether binge, and I knew we'd get into that rotten stuff pretty soon.

Yea, the people were nice, thats true when u were in Bratislava u should wisit the famous U-Club...its an AtomBunker - (dont know how to say it in E ) there r many hard techno, psytrance goa partys...its under the castle in bratislava...its wicked there, the sound is loud, all so small.
there played djs for example: Christian Wunsch,Oscar Mulero,Makaton,Inigo Kennedy,Regis,...also the club is famous as i said. try to look at www.ucko.sk ...the site actually opened, becaus uclub was closed, its changed his resident dj...actually now its DJ Breeth (playing electro), before was DJ Toky (Rumenige) played hardtechno. greetz P
