Don't you have a passport?

If you are a legal canadian resident, you are entitled to OHIP, and thus an OHIP card. You can get the card the same day you apply for it, and it has your picture on it. I've used mine to get into various clubs (system, gov't., etc.) with no problem at all. Go get yourself one if you can

Didn't the MTO issue you a temp driving license until you get your picture ID? You can use that in combination with some photo ID like a YMCA membership or student ID.
