i have the kp2, though it is fun and versatile in many ways, i personally havent found a whole lot of use for it in live mixing, as i am still slowly producing, i havent used it in producing yet. i think a lot of the effects (not all of them) sound a little cheesed out, ya know? but its the only effects pad ive used yet, so im no expert. i wish i had tested more out before purchasing it though, but thats hard to do unless you know people that are already have the equipment to use. heh, good luck.
