No seriously, think about it.Almost all of our core moral values came from religion.

Without it.. we would have had sex with our sisters, beating each other up for no good reason and basically eradicating ourselves.

From religion we learned to love.

I mean.. if u love ur parents prove it.

So how do aetheists manage to get by without having sex with their sisters, beating each other up, and eradicating each other? If that's the case, one woudl expect all the heathen cultures to have become extinct by now. One thing I have learned from religion, however, is that priests have an uncanny fondness for little boys, church officals like to cover up scandals, and religious leaders are one of the first to preach violence and intolerance. How morally altruistic ...

see thats where I disagree; I believe it is a reason, not even one of the main ones. People fight due to a discreptency in culture, religion is just one aspect of culture.

After all atheist seem to be very good at starting war too(try WWII, and coldwar for example)

Honestly I don't know the overall effect would be on a world deviod religion; but I think a world with religion gives people some hope, and some good age old advice as well.

Alot of cultures, though, are built on religion. Some religions teach tolerance, and some religions are devote southern baptist.....
