sweet jesus it hurts to get your wisdom teeth out. your asleep when they actually cut your gums open to take them out, but when you wake up...damn. You can't eat for a few days and your lips are numb for two days. And you slit blood cuz you have your gum stitched together.

I only had two... and they came in "wrong" (i dont remember the word they used lol its been a few years) anyway... so both of mine were cut out... its painful, but atleast they put you under to do it...

Well, they don't pull them out. What they do is cut the gum around the teeth open. Then they just take them out. Sorta gross, but how else would you get 'em?

yes they do pull them out, even if the have to cut the gum before that! they're tightly there, so they won't come off without any pulling! it's quite disgusting when you hear the tooth cracking as they pull it out and it won't come off!
and you're most likely not asleep when they pull them off, not here in finland at least, they just prick your mouth with some needle and make your mouth numb so you can't feel a thing, that's the way it's done normally, i've never heard of anyone being anaesthetized to sleep just because they pull their wisdom teeth out!
my mom kept calling me a wussy after i got mine taking out (i didn't get any drugs for like two hours afterwards... they didn't write the Rx soon enough) and then i got pissed off and pushed the microwave off the counter and she called the cops on me and the cops sided with me... that dumb ole bitch!!
