Some comments, thoughts...
BT uses Abelton Live (sp?) I think
... definitely NOT final scratch. His whole set is pretty much rehearsed and set out, hence why he started with the same track after we changed the mixer. He then adds effects with the help of a controller keyboard. I think it worked well for him, his personal performance energy certainly made up for any short comings in the musical direction. I was impressed by the setup and really liked the effects he could do. But personally I'll never be a fan of pre-set mix sets, I think it's a cop-out.
Pioneer mixer + drink beside the mixer + jumping around drunk DJ = DISASTER! .... I think the Allen & Heath could have taken the drink no problem.
Big thanks to Luke who stuck in their for the long run (we were supposed to play at 2am not 4:30am!) and helped me out with some nice tag-teaming for the end.
Thanks to the crowd who cheered enough and the System security who finally relented and let us play that Ewan Pearson mix of Chem. Bros for our finale .... it made my night!

I couldn't agree more with Matt, and this is pretty much a rehash of the argument I got into with the BT-superfan last week. Bring on the rebuttle!
