I havent downloaded the mix, but 150 BPM is to quick for those sort of tunes, keep it down

If you wanna play at 150BPM, look @ tidy complations, lisa lashes etc.

Some tunes can sound great that fast eg: Any BK, Lab4, Guyver, James Lawson, Basic Dawn- Pure thrust is nearly that quick anyway!

Just a suggestion

check out www.nukleuz.com, theyere the best records label for the harder trance stuff in my opinion!

:)

actually i appreciate the comments.... a bit harsh but i've been mixing for 3 months and i'm experimenting with different things, next set i make will be slower at around 130-140bpm but i really appreciate the comments.... well maybe not that "STOP MIXING" one but its ok... I'm going to keep at it and present a sick set in the next few weeks... if you want to follow my progress though head to my site at http://lsv.stylesunknown.com and check out my older set which i fucked up hard on phrasing and some matching... anyway enough rambling i'm gonna go work out a new tracklist

stay tuned and i hope you post again... harsh comments only mean i need to try harder

Stop mixing!!!

This is the worst amateur mix I ever heard here on TA. Why all on 150 bpm? Some tracks just don't dit that, i.e. Lemon 8.

Further is the mixing terrible, even I could have done better. Lot of trainwrecks here. Too bad I already burnt it on CD...

Don't listen to this guy, he's a dick. It took me a good 6-8 month's before i finally perfected my mixing skill's at the turntables. Keep practicing until you perfect your own style. I'd reccomend not going at 150bpm... but 145 can sometimes be okay, more Paul van Dyk style... still good Id personally say you're on the right track... because when i used to mix at 148 my mixes from track to track would come out better, and from that i would get better mixing at slower bpm's. Just wait until you get good at mixing. Production is the hardest thing though... Fun and frustrating times await.

And yeah... i don't know what you guy's definition of a trainwreck is... but i have yet to hear one, maybe at times they're offbeat at times, but normally its corrected such as 33:00... and even then, the minor mistakes aren't so bad that it isnt listenable from the confort of your own home.

Edit: Okay, the guys voice from time of our lives was unlistenable lol.

Idiots!

Some of you lot are just a bunch of idiots, Some opinions are meant to be kept to yourselves, if you voice them when putting people down you deserve to be spat at. (You know who you are)

Keep practicing Lsv, it will only make you better. When people make such ridiculed comments, keep working hard and show how good you really are. Believe in yourself and you will be ok.

Cosmic, to blatantly and publicly humiliate this amateur DJ by telling him to stop mixing is just pure shite! Someone needs some growing up to do. I think an apology is deserved and is definitely not out of the question.

Anyway, as i said keep practicing, you have nothing to prove to people, especially Cosmic, and I’m sure your next set will be great.

Dan.

For those of you whining about the bpm, remember that Winamp has a plugin called Pitch/Tempo control...
