actually "electronica" is a style of electronic music similar to "leftfield". leftfield being the style not the producers. electronica falls under the ambient category. there are five main styles of electronic music. house (from chicago), trance (from britain/europe), techno (from detroit), breaks (no idea where it's from), and ambient (again, no clue as to it's origins). cheers.

Wicked, but I was close, right? You know that one link to the "history of techno" site or whatever? With the black guys being interviewed and stuff, from Chicago and Detroit. Anyone have the site URL? I lost it.
