Prior to 90's, Oakenfold was spinning house/funk. He also spun U.K. garage.
Oakenfold was GOA in mid 90's with "A Voyage Into Trance."
In 1998, the year he released "Tranceport", he was uplifting/melodic trance.
In 2002, the year "Bunkka" came out, he was bullshit. This album is very popish. I would describe this album's genre as pop/house. Bunkka, however, did have "Southern Sun" and "Hypnotized", but out of 12 tracks those were the only 2 that were good.
Now, end of 2003, Paul is again starting to sound good. "Great Wall" has a great track selection. CD 1 is progressive house/trance. CD 2 is breaks and proggy-house.
