| quote: | | I feel that anyone who posts bs must be taken to task when they are blatantly wrong, I would venture a guess and say that most of the time it is the progressive heads that continually keep sounding the alarm...somehow thinking that one day will be your turn to shine. Unfortuntaely you guys missed your chance in 2001...keep reminiscing..Well in the end there are never any facts to base your stupid ass assumptions so let me be the first to bring some to the table: |
You know, it's kinda sad to see that you are differntiating yourself from other EDM fans just because it's a different genre...that paragraph you wrote has got to be the STUPIDEST argument I've heard on this board even since I registered(even outting my pointless rants that I used to do...just like this)
Since you made your point, lemme make mine relative to yours...it's not the progressive heads or the non trance fans who say trance is dead or dying...miss their chance to shine? What the fuck are you talking about? Since when did EDM create divisions between fans, and who the fuck are you to tell them that it's their turn to shine? So ridiculous...and yes, there are always facts to base assumptions, because that's what they are...assumptions are based on facts.
| quote: | | DJ Mag Top 100 DJs of 2003 results are in - here we go: |
It's nice to see how such a EDM cultured indivudual "old school TA" like you can relate to a STUPID poll like this...this poll tells you NOTHING...it's a fucking popularity contest, just like your high school ASB or Homecoming court. No point, no use. So quit using this as a reference to judge other types of music.
| quote: | | Now if you stupid fools were correct then we would have a deluge of non-trance (or progressive)Djs' on top....instead I can honestly and factually say: |
FACT: Progressive is not a genre. FACT: Trance DJs represent nothing when it comes to "DJing".
You say that trance will never die or go out of place from where it is right now...
Yet you relate to a popularity poll where the top 3 "DJs" are trance DJs...
| quote: | | right in that case we have two choices accroding to you, its either trance is dead or dying or its become mainstream..i see your (flawed) logic... |
Why don't you look further into what he is saying rather than trying to force your point...Tek does have a point: in a popularity poll, the top few are trance DJs...what does that tell you? I really don't think I need to tell you(and no, the answer is NOT "trance is not dying"...think harder).
Your argument serves no point and has no basis of fact. So quit your whining about how people think trance is dead because they know how to observe musical trends while you get off on popularity polls.
Peace.
