The closing at 2 is an unfortunate result of where the venue is located. Avalon here can stay open muuuuuch later. No idea what any average closing time is, tho..

Things may have changed, but I went on both nights the weekend after it opened, and at that time, it closed at around 6:30 - 6:45 am.
