Wassaga beach is 750km from MTL, about 1,5 hours from TO, on the eastern shore of Georgian Bay (lake Huron) The place is beautifull, beach drive, surf shops, pretty cool. Water is warm in end July-August. Motels: 100$ a night, reserve early! However an option can be Barry, there motels are like 60-70$, it's half an hour away.

Good idea, but way too far...

sandbacks is a provincial park, wasaga is a party beach, its not really the same

somewhere on this side of Toronto!

I like the wasaga beach idea.. even though as alec said 7 hours is a bitch for Ottawa TA's but it can be done...

Sandbanks is out of the question. it is a provinical park and the private campsites around there have BIG restrictions on noise

keep suggesting ideas guys.. this could be fun

Speaking of montreal being far from Wasaga...I agree, but coincidentally last summer when I was there for the long weekend in July, I stayed at this campsite called Sunshine (craziness) and these 4 guys that set up shop beside my friends and I looked really familiar. Within like 20 mins I noticed they were playing an older Tiesto set from their car...turns out they were from montreal and they hit up Aria all the time. They had been to all the same parties I had and that's where I recognized them from. Just thought I'd share since it shows how dope Wasaga really is if these guys come down every year like they said they do. Its worth it, and the camp sites are like 70 bucks for the whole long weekend if you can handle the party that goes on.

ya and if there are fucking ginos there got a problem? before u start dissin ginos up u should make sure they all the same...which in the end they not....
so word of advice keep ur smart ass remarks to yourself....
