well GPRS is nothing but a connection .. dEsidEL posted via a HTTP proxy on fido's GPRS network [so he was actually on a 'squeezed' version of TA on a ipaq h1940's screen (320x240)]

howard runs a WAP version also .. which loads quicker and is accessible via any WAP browser [so any cell with a mobile browser]... that is what dEsidEL is trying to recommend for TA ...

dunno the framework of TA's forums .. but u would wanna have a seperate server serving the WAP version of the site .. since it may require a lot of processes to convert it over to a post on vB ... it aint hard, but it does need its own resources

if u start it now or soon .. u will b ready for the onflux of 3G when it is global

I love wireless networks, very little security implemented and very easy to capture information that people send over the connection. Email passwords, banking information, etc Plus those are great spots to launch attacks from and break into other laptop user's PC's.

wells this bar that i was at didn't have an accesspoint .. i was connected via. a GPRS connection .. which is a bit more secure than WiFi i believe.. besides i'd never do banking over a wireless connection!
