dude you are a fcking rancid **** yourself. if you're so freaking surprised by the content of this album you must be completely idiotic considering everyone has heard nothing but you, connected, crush, buenaventura and most of us have heard more. now this makes up a good part of the album, at least 4 tracks so what the hell are you so stupidly surprised for. as for the rest of the tracks, two of them are very much pvd tracks and the others contain a newer sound.....so he did something different from what people expected, if you dont like it too bad.... but wtf does it have to do with selling out or losing the big picture.... especially when the big picture is that as many fans pvd has that follow him around the world, they are just people who have been into this scene....and most people aren't, and wouldnt event know who paul van dyk, where he's from or what he does. personally, i think pvd wanted to make danceable electronic music that would appeal to the ignorant ear, to make an impression on a much larger scale..... but we all know many people as soon as they hear a dance beat think to themselves "techno sucks" and wouldnt even give it a shot. well, its a sunday afternoon and im not happy so ive blabbed. but meanbastard, you truly are the ****

and by the way you are an even bigger **** for making another thread. you don't even have an opinion so what the hell was the point. there are people who did a better job of explaining that they don't like it. you just said in a different set of words : "i am a ****"

It isn't one of his "dancier" albums but I guess the title doesn't mean anything does it?

Reflections seems like what he's trying to portray by trying. Unlike some other artists that seem to outright sell out to the genre Paul has his wits about himself. He seems to want to do new things but not shock us into some garbage tracks. Sure "Nothing but You" and "Time of our Lives" have been played at 99.99% of PvD's gigs but we all know that these tracks somehow speak to us just like other artists do with their tunes. Anthems they are and will be. We all know that an artist can't please 100% of the people 100% of the time. PvD can cut good studio albums just like his live sets.
