LDRs can suck though. It takes an iron will and a level of trust right up there with the proverbial "leap of faith." Not saying they can't work, of course, but be sure that there is something really unique and special about that person before making such a commitment. Don't do it just for the sex, or even the companionship or entertainment.
The good thing about the 'net is that people are usually more open, and you can learn more about them in a shorter time. The bad thing is that sometimes the physical chemistry you imagine online doesn't exist at all face to face. Doesn't sound like you've got much chemistry, Mec... sounds like you're just doing it because it's someone. Not worth it...
Of course, her chatting online doesn't mean much of anything (unless she's doing it excessively with the same guy(s) and planning "meetups"). If your reasoning for breaking up includes her random chatting in any form, then that's just unprovoked jealousy. |
