They never gave them e. They actually gave them methamphetamine by 'mistake'. And the study was finished just in the nick of time to have the rave act passed.
How come they didnt realise there had been a 'mistake' when their findings were so different from all previous studies etc?
Anyway, if u werent talking about that crap, give me some sources showing this permanent brain damage u were talking about.

The only effects I noticed from E ( I did it for like a year straight- every weekend) was that my concentration was lacking and I would forget stupid little things- Like a name of a movie- or something I knew I should know- Ever felt like something was on the tip of your tongue and you just couldnt figure it out? Yea- pretty much that for a couople months. If you actually stop completely you will get back to normal in 3-6 months.

this research is bullshit! why da hell would you give a monkey 3 doses 3 hours apart...who the hell would do that
Squirrel monkeys (Saimiri sciureus) were given MDMA at a dosage of 2 mg/kg, three times, at 3-hour intervals, for a total dose of 6 mg/kg (

Stay away from amphetamines. They really fucked up my memory and thinking permanently, and they were perscription!
In my experience the negative effects of cannibis on memory subside after you stop using it, but then I only experimented and never abused it for a long period of time.
Alcohol abuse causes damage to vital organs such as the brain and liver, but moderate alcohol use is safe (and even benefitial).
As for MDMA, some of my friends who have taken it say they regret it because of the memory loss. It doesn't matter if there's not yet scientific proof that it causes memory loss if a large amount of circumstantial evidence points to the conclusion that it does in some people.
