Snowboarding is a fuckin blast. I love it. I didn't get a chance to go last year because none of my friends wanted to go

I haven't gone snowboarding for almost 10 yrs. My crew and I were hardcore, went up north and went into a valley ... start to chops trees down and build some nice hand rails and jumps.

It's fun, but as a pro sport ... a real man skateboards!

I'll come if I don't have much shit to do over the holidays

I'm definitely up for it.

ok..well maybe I have to drive a lil farther to get to my ski hills, but hey http://www.skifernie.com/themountain/ tells it all

Average Snowfall: 8.75 m/29 ft
Average Winter Temp: -5
Length of Season: Early December to mid-April
Vertical Rise: 857m/2816 ft
Base Elevation: 1068m/3500 ft
Summit Elevation: 1925m/6316 ft
Skiable Acres: 2404 acres
Total Trails: 107 trails, 5 bowls and tree skiing
Longest Run: 5 km/ 3 miles - falling star

Thats my stuff. FERNIE SNOW VALLEY!

or My personal fave http://www.skibanff.com/mountain/stats.html
SUNSHINE VILLAGE 100% natural snow!

Skiable Terrain: 3,168 acres
Top Elevation: 8,954 feet
Base Elevation: 5,440 feet
Total Vertical: 3,514 feet
Average Annual Snowfall: 33 feet
Lift Capacity: 20,000 people/hr

i might try it this winter if i go on the bunny slopes only tho

if you never did either, I would suggest trying snowboarding.. it's much easier to learn and you can start having fun right away..

I learned to ski when I was 7 and was skiing regularly until I decided to give snowboarding a try at 16.. and since I went skiing only a few times, sold my ski equipment and I loooooooooove boarding..
But I'm not sure about going.. cause I hate Blue Mountains (mountains? what mountains?), though I might.. after my exams and after my trip

I cannot ski for shit! Boarding? I'm willing to give it a shot...although I can see myself falling TONS of times on my ass, should still be fun...
