what do u guys think??

You always wine about it .... ? isn't having it online enough ???? atleast have some patience, not everyone has a lot of time to spare

do you complain when a liveset of a dj isn't split for you?

I actually prefer it in one piece, much faster to download & burn

Loved the selection actually, didn't hear any major mixing problems either. I've already played it for a few other people in the car, they approve too.

Only thing is, the volume was super low! Not a big problem since I just cranked the amp, but still scared the shit out of me when I ejected the CD and the radio came on.

hahaha, I know. Sorry about that.

I tried doing it at a higher output through the mixer, but the sound got totally fried going into my computer. The funny thing is, the volume was lower (than what is on the CD now) and I increased it in soundforge - it still came out low but I was in a mega rush to make copies.

Glad you liked it though; I'm still trying to get it on the C drive on my new computer so I can upload it to Peter's site.

Try using the "normalize" function when you can. Most recording and audio editing programs (and even burning software) have this feature. It will bring up the volume to a a level which you can specify. It works nicely in soundforge, still not the best but its as close as you can get as far as i know.

I don't know why but for some reason I don't like it when things are set up with a cue sheet. It's like everytime I hear a pause in between tracks I lose my place/moment in the set and it's like I'm no longer in the same groove. Too bad I can't cut each track as if it were an album so it would flow the entire way but also flexible the same way if it were cued.

there are NO pauses if you use the .cue sheet correctly Chris. You probably do the indexes but you never change pause length between tracks to 0 (it's set to 2 seconds by default). Or, you don't check 'Disc-At-Once' burning. If you want Nero/other burning software to index the file for you automatically, then you have to select "Burn Image" and then find the cue sheet and the indexes are set in place while the cd is being burnt.

Btw, for anyone who wants a cue for Jon's mix, click here

Nice Peter. I didn't know it was like that. Now I just have to get a working cd software burner set up properly so I can have cues. Nero doesn't work with an LG burner (at least not with mine).
