The pioneer one isn't great. I've seen it spit out 168 BPM on 138 BPM trance tracks in clubs.

About the effects button on the 700. I couldn't figure out how to get it to change either when I first got mine. I found out that I just had to use a little extra force when I pressed it and it would work fine. It must be something about the manufacturing process because it eased up after a while. But it's nice to know that there is a quick fix for it.

Glad to hear that customer support is so good, and they were able to give you the answer right away.

hmm. Yeah i only used it for a short time, maybe it was just getting lucky while i was there...
