Skin cancer's not good shit, but rather have it than lung cancer. I've known quite a few folks with the skin cancer, my father included, and that never killed them.

Skin cancer doesn't only develop from overexposure. You can get cancerous moles, which is classified as skin cancer (I think). I hope everything works out for your dad bro, cancer is nothing to take lightly. It is the epidemic of the 21st century.

spots can be decieving
they can be there and harmless, then change shape/colour and suddenly its a whole new issue.
I had had this mole for my entire life, it went from moleish pink/purple to brown green w/ spots

thats not good.
But in the end, it was all good. Hope the same for your father.
