Do I absolutely have to workout? Because I dont have a membership to a gym, but I will buy dumbells this week and I do pushups, crunches and shadow boxing at home as a workout.

It sounds pretty cool, it makes your body require less of your own natural insulin and uses mostly the nutrients from what you eat. It makes alot of sense to me since Im studying science right now.

Which company do you buy?

That would be a good option, except that I dont get any. Maybe if I did, I would be somewhat lighter.

Vlad, I seriously suggest you try to join a gym. I know it's expensive but if you can find a way to scrounge up 50-60 bucks a month it will make such a huge difference in your life. I was do scared of the gym and didn't want to work out around all the "beautiful people" but my brother made me go and it was the best thing i ever did. When you exercise you seriously FEEL better! You feel good about yourself and are less depressed. I know working out at home can definitely bring results, but there's more options at a gym.

And a lot of gyms give you a free personal training session. You do a stress test and they measure your body fat and work out a diet that is right for you.

Anyway, whatever you do, good luck with it. I know how hard it is. Anytime you need a little encouragement, let me know Speaking of which, I need to get my ass to the gym!

ps:

Greg and pvd420 are so right. If you want to lose weight and stay in shape, you can NEVER go back to eating garbage. Everyone will cheat here and there, and that's cool. But there is no end. You have to start a new life and embrace it. i am still working on this.

hardest thing for me: no more twizzlers.

i know what you mean i do my own version of the atkins diet to lose wieght or to maintain my weight, it works really well, i allow myself 1 meal per day with some carbs ( no more than 30) the hardest part for me is not being able to eat chocolate! it's easier for me to not eat chocolate at all than one piece, because if i eat one peice, than there goes my whole diet!

This Is Just My Day Job

I've been weight training for about a year and a half now, and when I first started I just kept eating the same foods that I always ate(pizza, pasta, etc). I noticed that I started getting bigger, but also fatter and without any cuts. Once I cut the junk out of my diet, I lost 10-15 pounds in a matter of a month, and have stayed that way since. Just remember at the end of the day, that YOU HAVE TO BURN MORE CALORIES THAN YOU EAT. Whether thats by lifting weights, running, or any sport like basketball, you're set to go.
Also, if a week goes by and you fantasize about eating pizza, chocolate or what not, don't torture yourself and have it, but make sure it happens at most once a week.
Just as an incentive, once you will see results, you will not want to go back to your old eating habits, so there's something for you to look forward to.

forget the atkins diet. I lost 48 pounds (in 1yr 5 months) Healthy way btw.... due to changing my diet and eating properly. I went to my doctor and he told me what to change...then i started exercising. PM me if you wish to learn how I did it, it may not work for you but I would be happy to give you some ideas.

I thought i heard that sex really doesnt burn that many calories. Unless you're like going at it for a solid 3 hours and doing it in a lot of different positions... then it wont really do much.

But it doesnt hurt to try
