Dude, ATB didn't remix Damaged.

Just because ATB mixed that CD doesn't mean it's automatically his remix. It wasn't "called ATB Remix" for a reason.

well...according to discogs, Trance Nation America 2 was remixed by ATB and George Acosta. ATB mixed disc 1 and Acosta mixed disc 2.

A review on amazon.com says "...it seems to me that ATB takes forever to make a transition to the next song making some of the segments in between very boring with repetitive beats. George Acosta's mix on disc 2, on the other hand, is perfect."

I also value the input of trancers more senior than myself -- such as starglider...and if I'm wrong...

From what I understand, the club mix is just the original (The antillas remix was the one in the video shown in tv down here).

I've never heard of an ATB mix , so i'm afraid i'm of no use there.

The only remix really worth listening to is the neo & farina anyhow.

Whoa whoa... I think you're getting your terminology mixed up a bit (a lot ).

Let's get some things straight.

Saying "ATB mixed disc 1" means that he compiled and spun the records (in theory, but let's not get into that) into a seamless mix. Mixing a CD is not at all the same thing as remixing a song, even though the root word seems to be the same. So he had absolutely nothing to do -- production-wise -- with the tracks on disc 1 (except for those explicitly marked as such), nor did George Acosta on the disc 2 tracks.

Now then, the track is a "shorter version" of the original because it's been mixed, ie, there's no intro or outro. I hope that clears some things up...

1. discogs don't always have their info correct

2. most amazon trance cds reviews are completely useless. the second link you give me calls this cd "Trance Nation '96 CD 1" yeah. 96???

3. i have trance nation america II and AFAIK, ATB never remixed damaged. just like starglider said, mixing and remixing are completely different things and simply making the track shorter or changing the tempo to fit it into a dj set does not make it a remix.
