being a marine myself, i find that very hard to believe. my reason for that is almost all of the commands look down on that sort of stuff. it could happen though. a little something to boost the moral of a bunch of jar heads.

eh, thats nice news, it would be quite a morale boost for the troops to have a phat party. I doubt that it was officially called a "rave" though , more likely a dance event or something like that.

thing about the military is they build you up dependant on your fellow soliders. Your not exercising your belief, your letting down your friends by doing that. Thats why they build such bonds, so it is not about the cause of the war, it is the fact of supporting your friends who are out there too.
