Like I said before, I think the show would actually do well at a late night time spot (2am or 3am) like it was before.
Not many people are up and it would only be for people who really are interested in seeing electronica videos.
AMP, I think, had a great setup on a number of things:
1) it was broadcast late at night, so you only saw it if you were an insomniac, or if you really appreciate EDM and stayed up to watch it
2) There was no annoying VJ talking about each track or annoying stuff like that. It was just straight back to back electronic music videos
3) The videos were actually quite eclectic. Back when AMP was on, I can't remember right now who was considered cheese (Fatboy Slim maybe? ) ************, AMP showed a whole variety of genres of EDM, Trance, Breakbeat, Techno Ambient Psy etc.. they were all diverse videos and I don't think any of them made any of the artists and less respected.
Again I say if MTV can stay true to that format, then I really dont think that those videos will become commercialized and overrated.
