if Airscape is trance, than I guess I'm with PVD on this one. airscape is generic as they come. anyone who remixes the venga boys needs to get their heads checked. they are radio friendly... I'm happy listening to Bonzai artists... FUCK AIRSCAPE!

if you have listened to his remix of kiss you would know that they are 2 songs that are absolutely worlds apart. in his remix of kiss there is no hint of vengaboys whatsoever. come to think of it, i don't even know why he called it a remix of kiss, he should have just called it his own production.

as far as your comment about being generic, thats the way it is in most trance tracks anyway. go listen to any other producer and tell me they aren't following a certain method in their tracks. this is what we call a developed style. this is how we know if its an airscape production or a rank 1 production. you may not like airscape's style and you are entitled to your opinion but that doesn't necessary mean its cheese. the majority certainly doesn't think so.

as for pvd, i don't know why he would diss trance in general like the way he has in some of his interviews because i find his we're alive track just as commercial/cheesy sounding as any ATB tune. not to take anything away from pvd, he is a great dj/producer of course.

There are many DJ's and producers that re-invent their sound. For instance... while Blank & Jones, like them or not... have put out a wide varitey of styles... from Cream, Nightfly, Sound of Machines to DFF. None really sound alike... and if you look at Tiesto a few years ago, to now.. he has definitely changed his sound, not always for the good. His Allure - When She Left sounds nothing like the songs he produces today. To me... Airscape projects sound hallow. There is no real depth to their music. Kiss was one of the most commercial sounding songs, which gives trance a bad name.
