But I kinda like more of his older stuff for example all the essential mixes or Innercity set ah..brilliat but his nowadays sets just don't sound personally for me as good as they used to...for example Mayday 2001 or Ultra,at Gatecrasher set was ok
I haven't heard Ultra. Gatecrasher is SICK! I can't stop listening to it! Mayday is also awesome!

I would listen to Tiesto anyday over PVD....Why...cause the interviews I read about Paul Van Dyke he slaps trance in the face....Fuck him man...Tiesto is dam proud of Trance and loves talking about the future and past of Trance tunes...and how emotional Trance is..Tiesto is the man....when he came to T.O he was in Solid Sound records listening to records for a good three hours...that's a love for the music....PVD, was probably sitting in hotel room watching re-runs of Pee wee's playhouse when he was in T.O Oh....I think I am going to turn this into a Tiesto Versus PVD thread...LoL

Yeah, if anyone has this song, please share it..
Another kewl thing about PvD, besided playing the newest tunes on most of his sets, he also brings back those 99 tunes on some of his ocassional, special sets.. wich is just an awesome thing !! imagine listening to that tune from 99 , 2 yrs ago ! been played once again, you'll feel it as if it was played for the 1st time !

Dude ur interpretation of the PVD intreviews got u mistaken..... he doesnt Bash Trance as a music genre...just he doesnt agree with labeling the music in general with all these names..when in fact the music hasnt changed a bit!! His favorite style of msuci is Trance he just might not call it trance than Electronic Dance music........ and if you think PVD sux u obviously havent seen him live..... PVD can Teach those djs like tiesto,oakenfold,etc... a few tricks when it comes to full talent behind the tables....... i think why people love pvd so much probably cuz they seen him live and his whole on look on the scene and his productions and his style.....hes original doesnt copy anyone...or has a style anyone has ...his originalty is so PURE....and it makes him almost a GOD in such nature to this music......PVD is a Trend maker in this music scene..and u cant say that with many other djs....but hey u have your opinion on things even thought they might not be educated it doesnt matter hehehehehe

well.. Paul has changed a lot in the last month.
and it's true he is playing older tunes. when he dropped "visions of shiva - how much can you take?" in Columbiahalle i almost died! =p
hehehehe... the man is on fire rite now... he has been playing all new tunes like: shout (coast to coast), into the night, "second sun", epic monolith, etc...
check his Soundgarden playlists and you will know what i say!
