Outkast songs have an almost irresistable rhythm to them.

Funny thing is, how many of you knew about or liked Outkast before "Hey Ya"? I've been following them since "Rosa Parks" came out.

I think most people found out about them when "Miss Jackson" came out...I remember that song being huge a couple of years ago.

Actually Outkast - Elevators (Me & You) was there first huge commercial hit. That was from the ATLiens album. There best one IMO.

i love outkast, i've loved them for a good 7 years now, own all their cds (well used to, fuckin thieves)

you never know what you're gonna get with outkast, its always something way out there, but they make it work, and they make it work really really well. i mean, just check out 'hey ya' it has the simplest 1,2 beat i've heard in a really long time, and still its one of the catchiest freaking songs i've heard all year

outkast = amazing

I first heard of them when Bombs Over Baghdad was getting radio play. That was a while ago, and to this day they have a unique and original sound which I like them for.

I think the complete opposite. I think their music is horrible mainstream wannabe hip hop rappers. "miss jackson" was an okay song, definately overplayed, but "hey ya" is a song is cant fucking stand. It makes me want to puke when i hear that song. imo Outkast is horrible. "hey ya" is somewhere between lame rap and pop music. The video is ghey too, its like a horrific version of st. patricks day.

I seem to be the only person that can't stand outkast?

Can't stand Outkast. Nerdy, wannabe-rappers that everyone seems to cherish as having an individualistic style when in reality its just cheesy, regurgitated, cliche lyricism with a catchy beat. Nothing special about these guys.

I bet you've never listened to any of their albums and are just going off of radio play.

Ignorance is bliss.
