You hit the nail there swamper, I met my GF on MSN, ages ago about 1 year and 3 months ago, and we decided to meet in my local public house (bar) , i saw pix of her before we met and she saw me, i had been single for ages and really wanted a g/f as being single gets expensive , i found out online that she likes r & b, gucci and porche and lamborgini and she supports my local football team also she was really pretty, i thought fuck it i might aswell go and meet her you never know do you, i had some feeling that i had to go and she said the same to me, she said she wouldnever meet ppl from the net but on this one occasion she tought something was right, we met and the first moment i saw her i thought u lucky bastard , she was more prettyier in the pix, we got talkin and we just clicked and that was it, we arranged a few more dates cinema , meal etc and i loved every min of it. ppl laugh sometimes when they ask you were you meet but fuck , its year 2003 nearly 2004 and technology is whats its all about like TXT MSG is just like chatting online ???.
something spookey now, my mother went seeing a fortune teller and she told my mother that a Michelle & America would appear in her life very soon, my mother was like wtf i hate America and I don't know a michelle, well 2 months later, i met Michelle My current GF , and she went to America 3 weeks after i met her also her mother new my when i was young and her dad's best friend works with my Dad.
Spooky.

Without a doubt, I was glancing through profiles on a dating site one day, one caught my interest... she seemed to love video games as much as me, was pretty cute, and seemed very down to earth. She gave out her IM name for people to IM her, sure enough I did, we got around to talking. We met in real life, found we got along really well, one thing lead to another... finally asked her out this past weekend. Go for it, the rumors that everyone you meet online is like some fat old cow is crap. When you get to be a certain age, and you're not a fan of the bars, it's kind of hard to meet people.

It is true that the ppl have a pre-conception that ppl who want to meet up on the net are all fat, gly bold men! aint true, coz we're all on the net right? lol
I say go for it mate, whats the worse that could happen, one day of ur life goes a little pear shaped? not too bad!

Sounds like a keeper. I agree that being single and dating is expensive. I spent about 37 dollars on one girl last time. I want my 37 dollars back

Throughout human history, as our species has faced the frightening, terrorizing fact that we do not know who we are, or where we are going in this ocean of chaos, it has been the authorities, the political, the religious, the educational authorities who attempted to comfort us by giving us order, rules, regulations, informing, forming in our minds their view of reality. To think for yourself you must question authority and learn how to put yourself in a state of vulnerable, open-mindedness; chaotic, confused, vulnerability to inform yourself. - Timothy Leary
