I voted yes, because Winamp 5 still has the classic skin + you can still use your old Winamp2-plugins.

I think the older one is much better as it has a built in mp3 to wav converter and IMO is easier to use, crashes lots less, uses less resources, and is faster loading by about 200%. I used to get lots of errors in win xp with 5 so I went back to the older version i think 3 in home and at work.

Dont get me wrong, the new one def looks better IMO and has better skins but its just too slow and buggy to be worth keeping.

Its sorta like winXP and 2000 for me where i found xp to be worse so I went back to 2000 and am happy.

Yes.

Never had any probs with it, and the video player is pretty decent as well.

In some aspects it is better. But for the most part, it wasn't really neccesary. I mean it looks prettier and all, but that just uses more RAM, and i'm allready in trouble with that, so the simple skins do well for me. Although i have to say that the tempo increase/decrease plug-in is awesome. Makes the track sound like something new, very cool.

winamp 5 is much better cuz u can use the old skins and new skins. also the plugins r cool and u can play games on it. and winamp 2.x is good cuz its been out for soo long and thers barely any bugs in it, after a couple of months, once they start to fix the bugs on 5 (i dont see any) everyone will start to get it
