When I was in high school, I was "talking" to this chick, and one day I was giving her a ride home from school I think, I dont know where we were coming from but I know it was on the way to her house to drop her off, but anyway I had some trance music and she was like "Carlos, What is this?(with a disgusted face)" So I go, its called trance, its some kind of music that I listen to. Then I changed the subject. |
TOTALY!
then they go about candy ravers & the use of drugs...
Anyways--
Ok so we don't see much electronica out there these days, it's not because of hate or dislike. Well maybe dislike, but look at what TV is advertising to the main public these days. LISTEN TO THIS - DRESS LIKE THAT - ACT LIKE HIM/HER... Whatever it is, ya know? These people are being handed their lifestyle, not to say it's wrong, but they also start to only follow that particular trend while neglecting everything else and that's when I would start to worry.
I'm pretty sure though, in a couple of years, people will start to grow out of the whole punk-rockstar or guru-rapstar and the media will turn their complete attention to electronica as a whole. And all of the sudden, ppl will like it!?
