What an awesome night!

I had a blast! It was great putting some faces to names, Jenna-rae, Schryer and Dj-Eso. They say that the people are what make an event great, and the gang I came with, and the TA's I met, made it a night to remember.

Jon, SICK set, dude! I was one of the crazies at the front trying to negotioate for an extra five hours... You made the place hop, for ME at least! I wanted to shake your hand at the end, but I got kind of a chilly reception, and my friends wanted to fly, so next time.

It was nice to have space to dance for a change! I was flailing like a madman in classic form... I swore to Max_Cued that we would dance until the LAST note fell, and we did! I noticed the "Stage-grinder" as well... I honestly didn't realize that she was a he until Eso told Max, who told me... Heh. I bet that guy at the end of the night was in for a bit of a surprise! Or maybe not, let's be fair, maybe he knew! To each their own, right?

Besides locking my keys in my car right before we got to the club, it was a perfect night. But that is a different story, and shall be told a different time.

My Blog Space... Veritas Lux Mea

This was definetly a better night then expected. Considering new years was two days prior to this night, so many people told me system would be dead. Well I can say it was not the case. There was about 600 people at the club and they unleashed such a great vibe. People were dancing t'ill the moment I got off the decks.
I got there around 11:30 to listen to Coleridge open things up nicely and to get a few drinks in me to calm my nerves. The club was starting to fill in nicely, but more importantly they were on the dancefloor ripping shit up. Stepping behind the decks at 2am watching over such an enthousiastic crowd was definetly the ice-breaker, I knew at that point I was going to have a good time. 4 hours seemed to fly by and much of that had to do with the vibe the club had that night. I still can't believe I played two encores!! on what was to be a slow night on a rainy day.

Matt, thank you so much for giving me this opportunity, this was just another example of you being a dj's dj and how much you appreciate the scene, the music and what Toronto has to offer.
