I like both trilogies, although I have to admit Matrix 2 & 3 were kinda bad compared to part 1.

The Matrix is better. Even though the third one was a complete pile of trash, I still think that overall, they're better than LOTR.

LOTR, have only seen the first matrix, but i prefeered LOTR..

i've seen them all, but i must say that i really didn't liked LOTR, those trees walking got me in deep sleep, but it's a enormous production and everyone who likes the genre likes it

i'll have to say LOTR, cause it only got better as the series went on...the first Matrix was good, but Reloaded and Revolutions suck.

Has to be LOTR I have never enjoyed a movie trilogy more than I did that one

LOTR is ok, tho there's too much "kill sauron, we shall" which make the movies a bit boring at times.

Also, those films are so hyped here that I hear the complete story before I even go to see the movies. Kind of destroys the experience for me.

Also, I like modern action better. Go Matrix!
