The DJs you are talking about playing on a daily basis are at clubs like Gatecrasher and Godskitchen which are huge superclubs that have been national & musical icons for the better part of a decade, with huge fanbases and followings and prestige. A startup club in b-more aint gonna have that.
another issue, I have no idea where you're gonna get the funds for this, cause hosting those massive DJs every week is gonna cost a pretty penny, and if you don't pack that place every time (which is hard enough to do for a brand new club), you are gonna lose lots of money really fast...especially since if those DJs stop by b-more somehow, they will probably already be booked in NYC & DC as well, which means theres a good chance the b-more show wont draw as big a crowd. |
