i disagree bro, Avid is where its at, but Final cut is damn nice.

I used iMovie which is a Mac-only app. Although, if you wanted to learn basic video editing there are plenty of other programs that could do a much better job, such as Final Cut Pro, Avid, or Shake. The latter two are extremely expensive, and only high-end production studios would probably carry those.

I just happened to stick with iMovie cause Quicktime's MPEG-4 codec has pretty good compression and quality for web streaming. Plus, I got it for free (cha ching).
