Hey John, sorry I took so long to post my comments, but here they are...

Really liking this one, you should definetely find the time to finish this off. As someone mentioned before, I think the clap could do with a change. Apart from that it's good stuff! Plenty of interesting little effects and stuff, and I think the melody suits the style well. Nice.

EDIT: I'll comment on the other one tomorrow. Just shout at me and remind me, coz I'm too tired at the moment.
